Directions
Traveling on I-40E
Take a left on Martin Luther King Parkway (look for the HWY 74/Wrightsville Beach road sign). Continue on this road; it will become Eastwood Road. Take Eastwood Road all the way into Wrightsville Beach. After crossing the bridge into Wrightsville Beach continue straight until you reach Lumina Ave. At the stoplight take a left onto Lumina Avenue and continue to the end of the island. Shell Island Resort is the last building on the right.
From Hwy 74/76
Merge onto US-74 E/NC-133 N toward I-40/Jacksonville/Wrightsville Beach/Clinton. Go approximately 2 miles and turn right at first traffic light to continue onto NC-133/N 3rd St/US-74. Follow signs to NC-133/Martin Luther King Jr Parkway. Continue east on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway which merges into Eastwood Road/Hwy 74. Travel east on Eastwood Road, over the bridge and into Wrightsville Beach. Turn left onto Lumina Avenue and continue north to the end of Wrightsville Beach and Shell Island Resort, which is the last building on the right.
From Hwy 421
Turn left at traffic light onto NC-133/N 3rd St/US-74. Follow signs to NC-133/Martin Luther King Jr Parkway. Continue east on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway which merges into Eastwood Road/Hwy 74. Travel east on Eastwood Road, over the bridge and into Wrightsville Beach. Turn left onto Lumina Avenue and continue north to the end of Wrightsville Beach and Shell Island Resort, which is the last building on the right.
From Wilmington International Airport (ILM)
Exit the airport by turning left onto 23rd Street. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway and continue east through the intersection at South College Road. The Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway merges into Eastwood Road (Hwy 74). Travel east on Eastwood Road, over the bridge and into Wrightsville Beach. Turn left onto Lumina Avenue and continue north to the end of Wrightsville Beach and Shell Island Resort, which is the last building on the right.
